That's a beautiful poem...
Eduardo, really a great poem. And a quote from my favorite psalm. Yes, I have a favorite psalm.
wow, that poem rocks!
The first six lines are singularly arresting, and the ending--that surprise simile--holds its own. This poem will haunt me all day. Excellent.

Amazing poem from the boths of you.
"All the Trees of the Field..." is a powerful piece. And the ending is stunning.
Fantastic poem... thanks for linking to mine too!
Gorgeous poem at Post Road, EC...I'm in love with "I mistook a peach pit/on a white dish/for a thumbprint."
I know this is an old post, but do you know that "All the Trees of the Field Will Clap Their Hands" (will rather than shall) is the name of the first track of Sufjan Steven's album "Seven Swans?"
